Living Trust

A revocable agreement whereby the grantor transfers ownership of property to a trust account. The trustee then becomes responsible for all investment decisions, as well as periodic reviews of the trust's assets. A living trust guarantees professional investment management and continuity of your account in the event of your death or incapacitation. You have the option of naming yourself, a family member or friend, or a corporate fiduciary like Foresight Bank to serve as the trustee, giving them the freedom to make modifications to the trust as changes in your life occur.

Investment Management Agency Account

This is an account that allows the trust department of the bank to professionally manage assets placed into the account. The bank then provides professional investment management, custody, bill paying, and recordkeeping services. This type of relationship terminates with the death of the grantor, whereas a trust can continue after death.

Irrevocable & Testamentary Trusts

A trust relationship is one where a trustee manages assets per the trust terms, handling distributions, expenses, and investments for the benefit of all beneficiaries.

Testamentary trusts are created by a will and take effect at death, while irrevocable trusts are established during life but become effective after the grantor’s death or incapacity.
